Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to drive sales, margin, and market share for fashion apparel.
- Analyse market trends, competitive activity, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from assortment planning and product selection to pricing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with merchandising, buying, and design teams to curate appealing and commercially viable product assortments.
- Develop and implement effective promotional and marketing plans to drive category performance.
- Optimise in-store and online visual merchandising to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Monitor category performance against key metrics and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Manage category budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Stay abreast of emerging retail technologies and best practices in category management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail category management, merchandising, or a related role, preferably within fashion apparel.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing product categories.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market insights, and consumer behaviour.
- Deep understanding of the fashion industry, trends, and consumer preferences.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in retail analytics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Due to the nature of the seasonal roles, we are looking for both part-time and full-time Sales and Stock Associates. Applicants should be available to work any dates (excluding Christmas Day) up until January 2026. Most contracts will end by the 31st January 2026.
Depending on your availability, our seasonal employees will start in the business in the months of October, November and December.

+ Have first class communication and negotiation skills
