An award winning practice has reached out looking for immediate assistance. They are looking for an experienced Principal Designer to join them to assist with a major commercial project in London on a contractual basis.

Responsibilities:

- Assisting the team and clients with strong building regulations knowledge.

- Providing advice and reviewing the projects and design all aligns to standards.

- Support the project which is currently at stage 3.

The project is an office building based in Central London. The role would be outside IR35 and require visits to site, either to be done on full time or part time hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend design team and client meetings to provide expert advice on risk management 

  • Provide CDM Advisor services to clients, ensuring compliance with current regulations

  • Proven experience assisting clients with successful applications to the Building Safety Regulator.
  • A professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Architect or Architectural Technologist). and membership with a recognised professional body (e.g., RIBA, ARB, CIAT).

Attention all Principal Designers!

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Designer to join a well-established architectural practice, in a part-time contract role outside IR35 . Our client is also seeking Principal Designers with an architectural background for a full-time contract role, also outside IR35 .

You will be required to work 3 days a week on site in Mayfair , working on a large-scale project in London on stages 3-4.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the planning, management, monitoring and coordination of health and safety in the RIBA stages 3-4.

-Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the internal team, promoting an investigatory and inclusive design process.

-Ensure that all deliverables (drawing packages, details, specifications) meet the highest standards.

What we are looking for:

-Must be RIBA certified (essential).

-Prior experience working on large scale projects on RIBA stages 3-4.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

-Significant leadership experience in architecture.

-Proven record of developing contextually specific, idea-driven design strategies.

-Advanced proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Adobe Suite, Enscape or similar).
