Location: 2 days per week in the Glasgow office and 3 days working from home, with occasional travel to Edinburgh for company meet-ups. We are looking for candidates based within the Glasgow area in Scotland.

About the role:

We are seeking a Design & Print Quality Control Executive with a detail-oriented, technical approach to join our Custom Design Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional within design and print to focus on quality assurance of point-of-sale and marketing materials for some of the world’s leading wine and spirits brands. 

The role is pivotal in ensuring that all creative output not only meets brand guidelines and compliance requirements but also upholds the highest design and print standards. 

What you’ll do:

As a Design & Print Quality Control Executive, you will be responsible for: 

Proof Checking Dimensions & Layout  

  • Reviewing page sizes and template sizes for accuracy. 

  • Checking overall composition to ensure the design is well-balanced and visually appealing. 

Proof Checking Visual Quality  

  • Ensuring watermark placement is correct and consistent. 

  • Verifying that all text is legible and accessible (e.g. appropriately sized for readability). 

  • Checking resolution and quality of design and image files. 

Proof Checking Compliance & Brand Standards  

  • Reviewing branded legal text for accuracy and compliance.

+ Develops the design strategy to achieve quality deliverables within the schedule and on the budget. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
+ Oversees Exempt and Non-Exempt team members.
+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and applicable laws.

EDUCATION
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
+ Professional license in architecture and/or engineering is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
+ Extensive experience in the management and development of Entertainment or Hospitality based projects such as Theme Parks, Hotels, Retail, Food/Beverage, and Entertainment venues; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and experience of theme park projects including operations, maintenance, major ride/show systems, and construction is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Must have strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
