The Role
We are seeking an experienced Print Finisher to join our busy production environment on the night shift. You will be responsible for operating a wide range of finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines, and hands-on technical knowledge of finishing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of finishing machinery including:
- Cutting & Trimming – Guillotines (Polar, Wohlenberg, or equivalent).
- Folding – Stahlfolders, MBO or similar.
- Binding – Perfect binding, PUR binding, Saddle-stitching
- Laminating & Coating – Encapsulation and digital lamination machines.
- Die-cutting, Creasing & Perforating – Cylinders or platen machines.
- Check work against job specifications and conduct quality checks throughout the finishing process.
- Ensure jobs are completed on time, in full, and ready for dispatch.
- Assist with machine set-up, calibration, and routine maintenance.
