Requirements
At the Senior Lead Consultant level, you will be expected to work with Bridewell's clients around the UK delivering and leading a range of data privacy projects. This could cover implementation of Data Privacy Frameworks aligned to legal requirements and standards, such as ISO27701 and NIST Privacy Risk Assessment Methodology. With Bridewell continuing to grow, you'll build and manage a high performing team of Senior Consultants, Consultants and Junior Consultants, and Quality Assure other consultants work as required, ensuring technical and written quality levels are met.
Responsibilities include:
- Staying on top of the latest developments within data privacy by attending training and conferences.
- Working with the leadership and sales team to respond to tenders and provide pre-sales support.
- Responsible for recruitment of team members and assisting with resource planning.
- Input into the development of Bridewell data privacy methodologies.
What we're looking for
For this role, we'd ideally like you to have around 6 - 8 years of professional experience and expert technical knowledge of relevant UK, European and global data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR, PECR and UK DPA. You'll also hold relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection (PDP or equivalent) and be keen to continue your professional development. Further to this, you'll have the following experience:
- Previous experience in line managing team members and mentoring colleagues.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems, such as OneTrust, and applying data protection in a practical context.
- Practical experience of applying expert domain knowledge across a number of delivery scenarios, including but not limited to, data mapping, responding to data subject requests, managing personal data breaches, undertaking Data Protection Impact Assessments, undertaking privacy audits and gap analysis and conducting contract reviews.
- Practical experience of developing, maintaining and implementing Data Privacy Frameworks in a variety of organisations including during times of large-scale transformation.
- Practical experience of applying a range of risk management approaches, conducting risk assessments and being able to articulate risk effectively.
- Practical experience of providing independent support and advice on a wide variety of privacy issues.
- Experience in operating in the role of Data Protection Officer, including liaising with regulators, such as the Information Commissioners' Office.
- An accomplished communicator with the ability and confidence to present complex issues and influence decisions at all levels within an organisation with excellent analytical, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous work experience with regulators or industry bodies.
- Previous experience having worked for or with both Processors and Controllers.
- Developing solutions to address client security requirements.

at Infosys, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in data privacy tools like

You will manage data privacy initiatives, drive compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic solutions. Your responsibilities include implementing fine-grained access controls, conducting data discovery and DPIA processes, supporting RFPs and pitches, and contributing to documentation and SOP development. The role demands strong experience in data governance, privacy tools, SQL/PL SQL, and regulatory frameworks, with a preference for hands-on expertise in Secupi.
Responsibilities

- Act as the Secupi SME be the point of contact between development and client business teams
- Manage data privacy programs and ensure successful delivery
- Design and implement data privacy & security programs for different clients.
- Lead the activities to design & implement fine grain access controls using OneTrust.
- Lead the activities to design and implement DPIA process, data discovery, fine grain access control implementation using Secupi
- Participate in processing documentation efforts and creation of SOPs.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with business, subject matter experts, and delivery teams to develop strategic business solutions.
- Work on data privacy & security-related RFPs, proactive pitches, and developing collaterals to showcase capabilities. Document and communicate the proposed solution via the creation of compelling business cases.
- Work in collaboration with Data Modelers/Data Architects and provide required business/functional inputs for building privacy solutions
Required
- 11+ years of experience in data disciplines, with at least 4 years of experience on Secupi or Protegrity or OneTrust or BigID (Secupi Preferred)
- 6+ years of direct customer interfacing experience, data management-related experience such as data analysis, data governance, enterprise information management, data modeling, and data quality management.
At least 4 years of experience in one of the following:
Data Privacy, compliance, or data governance implementation.
- Data protection & data security measures
Preferred
- Should have excellent problem-solving skills
- Responsible for Coaching and mentoring team members
- Strong SQL/PL SQL experience for data analysis, report generation, data profiling, and reverse engineering.
- Experience on other Privacy tools like BigID, Securiti.AI, Secupi is good to have
- Certification or End-to-End implementation of frameworks/offerings experience in any of the Regulations/Act/Laws like CCPA, GDPR, AML, KYC, CDD, MiFID, BCBS, HIPPA, IFRS, etc.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced qualified Lawyer to join Avantia on a freelance/ consultancy basis to spearhead the negotiation of investment-related NDAs, Engagement Letters, joinder agreements and non-reliance letters. You’ll manage every phase of the contract process - from initial review and negotiation, guided by client playbooks, all the way through to document execution.
Working closely with fellow global Avantia lawyers and paralegals, you'll dive into fast-paced, high-volume negotiations on pre-M&A contracts (mainly ELs and investment related NDAs), collaborating directly with counterparties while ensuring rapid turnaround times.
This role is fully remote and allows you to practice law flexibly. Due to turnaround times agreed with our clients, we ask for a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, spread across Monday to Friday. However please note that as this is a freelance arrangement, we are unable to guarantee regular work.
