This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Governance professional to join Your Housing Group's well established, collaborative Data and Business Intelligence Team as Data Governance and Quality Lead.

As YHG's Data Governance and Quality Lead you will play a crucial role in leading other data professionals and influencing a wide range of business stakeholders to scale-out and embed our Data Governance Framework and Data Management capabilities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and readiness for AI. What will my working week look like?

You will be homebased, living within the North West, within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Warrington, to attend meetings and training courses when needed. Realistically, you will be required to visit our Head Office approximately 2-4 times a month.

What will I be responsible for doing?

Working with the the Data & Business Intelligence team, and the wider YHG Data Community you will lead in the development and implementation of best practices for data governance and quality across all YHG business areas.

You’ll work closely with the community of Data Owners and Stewards across the business, leading Data Governance Working Groups and be a key member of Data Governance Committee.

You’ll lead data governance initiatives and collaborative issue remediation, including data quality assurance, meta-data management, and data lifecycle processes, building trust in the data that underpins business decisions.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Building impactful Data Management capabilities using appropriate technologies (Business Glossaries, Data Catalogue, Data Lineage)
