We are seeking a Process Designer for an upcoming 12-month FEED project in the oil & gas/petrochemical sector.
This role will involve leading and developing process design deliverables, including PFDs and P&IDs, and translating engineering concepts into practical design drawings using industry-standard CAD tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop process design deliverables, including PFDs and P&IDs.
- Review and correct drawings based on check prints before submission to the Lead Engineer/Principal Engineer.
- Translate engineering concepts into practical design drawings using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SmartPlant, PDMS, Plant 3D, or equivalent).
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum: Certificate in the Drafting trade.
- Preferably with Saudi Aramco project experience.
- 15+ years of experience in process design within oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, or related industries.
- Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SmartPlant P&ID, Plant 3D, PDMS, or E3D.
- Strong knowledge of process and piping design principles, including equipment layout and safety design.
Reporting:
- The Process Designer will report to the Principal Engineer or Lead Engineer.
Assignment Duration:
- 12 months, with possible extension working outside IR35.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing process design input, whilst formulating and developing designs for clients.
