  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to automation and control systems in a remote support capacity.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project scope, technical requirements, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation technology and industrial control systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies for system optimization, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering documentation, including P&IDs, functional design specifications, and user manuals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial automation, process control engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring major PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and DCS systems.
  • Experience with SCADA and HMI software (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View).
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
  • Knowledge of industrial networking, cybersecurity principles, and data acquisition systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Experience with simulation software and virtual commissioning is a plus.
