Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a proven track record of leading and developing a team to deliver best in class process design and installation services across a range of highly regulated, process industries such as chemical, food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and Oil & Gas?
If so, Adepto are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the hire of a Process Engineering Manager to join their business in the Teesside area.
This role will sit on the engineering leadership team and play an integral part in providing solutions that are aligned with client needs and expectations and meet the necessary regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop the process engineering team, fostering technical excellence and career progression. li>Manage resource allocation and workload planning to meet project and business objectives.
- Provid technical leadership in process design, safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL), and process optimisation activities.
- Develop a d maintain process engineering standards, procedures and best practices.
- Act as the discipline lead on major projects, ensuring alignment with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide technical support during design and execution phases.
- Ensure c mpliance with UK regulations (COMAH, DSEAR, PED) and international standards.
- Supp rt business development through technical input to proposals and client presentations.

Key Requirements
- BSc/M c in Process or Chemical Engineering, however candidates with considerable experience including several years in a leadership capacity will also be considered.
- Significant expe ience in process engineering within a range of highly regulated environments.
- Stron understanding and knowledge of UK process safety regulations (COMAH, DSEAR, ATEX).
- Be an xcellent communicator and collaborator across both internal and external stakeholders
- A wi lingness to travel and be present on sites and engage with clients, representing the company and identifying opportunities to add further value.

As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work on a range of projects in the energy and renewable power sector, with a focus on providing Process Safety inputs as well as engineering delivery and management of tasks and deliverables. Considerable technical experience in power generation, industrial process, CCUS and/or future fuels projects, preferably within a consulting environment;
