As the Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with our business goals. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging components, and services.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and finance to ensure alignment of procurement activities.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.

- Excellent knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing, and contract management.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.

The Procurement Lead will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Create internal and external KPI's to drive continuous improvement and performance in line with company objectives
- Ensure MRP systems are accurate and in line with production plans
- Ensure materials and supplies are ordered with best price and quality standards required
- Monitor and record cost savings achieved
- Liaise with internal departments to forecast supply and demand
- Report directly to the Operations Manager
For the Procurement Lead role, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess:
- Experience working as a Senior Buyer within an Engineering and Manufacturing environment
- Experience developing strategies in line with company goals
- Experience within the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience with Epicor MRP or similar
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Working hours of the Procurement Lead:
37 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift
- Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 16:00
- Friday: 08:30 to 15:30

The Opportunity
Sitting within the Materials, Manufacturing & Capex Procurement Delivery group, you will shape and embed a global approach to Category Management . This is a senior, strategic role where you will:
- Define and lead the Category Management framework across Global Procurement.
- Develop best practices, processes, and tools that enable excellence in category strategy development and execution.
- Act as a subject matter expert , coach and enabler — working closely with procurement managers and stakeholders across functions, business units, and geographies.

Who You Are
We are looking for an experienced procurement leader who brings:

- Experience working in a matrix, global environment , ideally with exposure to manufacturing, materials, or capex categories.
- Familiarity with digital procurement platforms and a commitment to innovation and agile ways of working.
- Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organisation.
