This is a key role ensuring that products are safe, legally compliant, and meet the highest quality standards. You'll take the lead on vendor compliance, product testing, and risk management while working closely with suppliers, test labs, and UK Government authorities.
The Role
Lead on product compliance, quality assurance and risk management.
Manage supplier SEDEX compliance and ethical/environmental standards.
Own relationships with test labs, audit houses, and compliance partners.
Oversee product recalls and quality issues, ensuring robust processes are followed.
Keep policies and due diligence processes up to date with UK/EU legislation.

RINA is looking for an Industry Product Compliance Consultant who will work within the Product Regulatory Compliance Team.
The role is based in Leatherhead, Surrey and will involve occasional travel, visiting UK and overseas clients. We support Smart Working or Flexible working. Remote working will be considered.
Responsibilities
- The purpose of the role is to support clients in meeting requirements related to the design, manufacture and supply of engineering products - primarily those related to substance/chemical requirements in hardware.
- You would be part of a small but growing expert team dedicated to helping manufacturers and their supply chains meet all technical and legal requirements when placing products on the market.
- The team works across a wide range of product sectors, principally in the electrical, electronic and electromechanical equipment product sectors.
- Clients range from large to small companies, trade associations both nationally and internationally, the European Commission and governmental agencies both in the in UK and worldwide.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified chemist or materials scientist (graduate or higher), natural sciences, environmental sciences or equivalent. or 5+ years working in these domains;
Able to demonstrate an ability to develop an understanding of legal requirements including the REACH Regulation, RoHS Directive, POPS, PFAS and similar global measures as they apply to downstream users (manufacturers of hardware, their suppliers and clients);
Possess excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English, with the ability to undertake well-developed report writing and presentations with acute attention to detail.

Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator with experience in eCommerce? We’re looking for a Product Content & Compliance Administrator to join a busy team on a temporary basis, supporting product setup, content creation, and compliance for online retail platforms.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Business, eCommerce, Marketing (or equivalent work experience)
- Previous experience in an eCommerce role, ideally with Amazon or similar platforms
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices
- Strong analytical approach with intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Organised, proactive, and a real team player who can work across multiple stakeholders
- Supporting product setup for eCommerce, ensuring deadlines are met and items are live on retail websites
- Assisting with the setup and amendment of pre-orders across multiple markets
- Coordinating with internal teams to gather assets and translations for product variations
- Helping with item setup testing and data quality audits to ensure accurate product detail pages (PDPs)
- Correcting categorisation errors for existing items
