About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Development Quality Engineer to join our Development Excellence team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of key APQP elements , including:
- Requirements Management
- Boundary Diagrams
- Interface Analysis
- QFD, DFMEA, DVP&R
- PFMEA and Process Control Plans
- Partner with design teams to define product architecture and system interfaces.
- Develop and cascade level-appropriate requirements across product hierarchies.

What You’ll Bring

As **Senior Test Development Engineer** , you will be responsible for the design, manufacture, verification, validation, and lifecycle support of test equipment at board, sub-system, and system level. You'll work on technologies that support Control Actuation Systems, Guidance Electronics, and cutting-edge GPS Anti-Jamming systems across land, sea, air-and space.

**Responsibilities**
+ Design and develop functional test equipment for electronic systems
+ Lead and support hardware/software integration and troubleshooting
+ Provide lifecycle and production support, including issue resolution and obsolescence management
+ Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop robust, scalable test solutions
+ Lead design reviews and documentation to the highest standards
+ Act as a mentor and technical leader for junior engineers
**Required Experience**
+ Excellent knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
+ Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation.
+ Proven experience in handover and management of designs in production.
+ Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills.
+ Test software design experience.
+ Able to support/debug system integration
+ Must be eligible Security Clearance to a minimum of BPSS and ideally SC
**Desirable Experience**
+ Significant test development experience in industry.
+ Use of Mentor Graphics schematic entry and PCB layout tools.
+ Understanding of common test architectures PXI/d LXI
+ Measurement Uncertainty and its application in test equipment design and validation
