Prestigious Client based in Daventry is seeking a Production Coordinator to plan, schedule and monitor production activities in a precision engineering environment. This includes Goods In and Despatch to ensure seamless material flow and timely delivery of finished goods, minimising downtime and optimising machine and team performance.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and manage production workflows to achieve monthly output targets, develop machine schedules, collaborate with shopfloor, monitor and maintain tool and machinery performance and engineers, coordinate Goods In and Despatch teams to ensure timely receipt and delivery, deal with maintenance of tools and machines,health and safety, resloution of any problems.
Ideal candidate will have previous experience of a production/engineering environment, ideally precision engineering. Be proficient on EXCEL, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, knowledge of Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment and experience of coordinationg logistics, including Goods In and Despatch.
Knowledge of Progress Plus and experience of managing machine maintenance and overseeing shopfloor audits woruld be advantageous.

We are looking for a Wholesale Production Coordinator to join our growing Production Team to secure timely and successful delivery to our wholesale partners. You will be managing the product life cycle from order placement through to delivery into our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate delivery dates with factories, and coordinate raising POs to them.
- Establish and maintain a close communication with suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and quality standard of goods.
- Accurately update and maintain PO information and shipment schedule.
- At order placement, work closely with Account Managers and Design team to review PP sample comments and packaging requirements to ensure smooth transition into production.
- An understanding of each customer's supplier manual and ensure compliance working with our suppliers.
- Track and update the shipping schedule and cross check packing lists against scheduled shipments.
- Liaise with wholesale teams for commercial decisions on any quality issues and delivery delays that may arise, levy penalties to factories where required.
- Proactively follow up orders weekly with factories and chase shipment samples, QC reports and any documents for approval prior to shipment.
- Quality check and measure the shipment samples against approved PP samples and specs.
What we need from you:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in working in a busy product based production role.
- Experience working with factories/ suppliers based in the Far East, Vietnam, India and Bangladesh would be highly advantageous.
- Mandarin Chinese language ability a plus but not essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Proactive with problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills both externally and at all levels internally.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, Excel.
- Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve.
- Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated.
