Are you experienced in CNC Milling and turning with knowledge of CAD/CAM? If so I have an opportunity with a Keighley-based company for a Production Engineer. They offer good benefits with flexible start/finish times (or a 4 day week).
Main Responsibilities

* Create CNC programs using Hypermill CAD/CAM and assist with CNC machine programming
* Liaise with tooling suppliers and machinists to ensure optimal tooling is in use
* Design and develop jigs and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency
* Review and optimise component routings for productivity
* Analyse and improve production processes to reduce waste and increase output
* Deliver training for machine setup and operation and support apprentices
* Source and assess capable subcontractors from a machining and quality standpoint
* Support layout planning, maintenance schedules, and risk assessments
* Liaise with subcontractors and assist in supplier development and expediting
* Support Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean projects
* Provide cover on critical machines during absences
* Travel off-site to suppliers and subcontractors when required
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline process interfaces
Please note due to the nature of the contracts, the successful candidate will have to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
