Kinetic Recruitment is currently recruiting Production Operators to join a leading manufacturing company in Holywell.
Duties
*Operating sorting and collation equipment in line with company procedures, with a strong focus on quality control.
*Monitoring production to ensure it meets required standards, using the tools and equipment provided.
*Working closely with the shift leader to keep machines running efficiently and ensure production deadlines are met.
*Checking products visually, as well as verifying weights and sizes with great attention to detail.
*Packing products in line with quality requirements.
Additional responsibilities
*Following all health & safety rules and keeping your work area tidy.
*Wearing the appropriate PPE at all times.
*Communicating effectively with colleagues and recording handover information to ensure smooth shift transitions.
*Carrying out any other reasonable tasks as required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a leading global FMCG company with brands such as Persil, Surf, Comfort, Domestos & Tressemme, are currently looking for CB3 5crew Machine Operator to work in their prestigious facility in Port Sunlight. This is a Temporary position, with an immediate start. The pay rate will be 20.28 an hour on basis of 37.5 hours per week, rising to 22.53 an hour following successful completion of the training journey.
Applicants must be available to work shifts that may fall Monday to Sunday following a 5-crew shift pattern:
2 x 12-hour days than 2 x 12-hour nights then 6 days off
2 x 12-hr days then 2 x 12-hour nights then 4 off (July-September)
Bank holidays and annual leave are built into the shift pattern which includes an 18 day paid break is built into the shift pattern
During the "off" periods there are requirements to be "on call" if absence cover is required.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with the desire to practice and improve their technical skills and knowledge, and who possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Reporting to the Run to Standards Leader, the successful applicant will have a pro-active approach to problem solving and fault finding on a high-speed production line to improve operational efficiency and drive area performance. With a positive attitude to change, they will be able to analyse technical/mechanical problems in the area, research, suggest, communicate, and implement improvement ideas.
The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for the importance of maintaining high quality and hygiene standards and will ensure that they comply with safety standards and adhere to site regulations.
They will be a relationship builder, with the ability to communicate their opinions both verbally and in writing to colleagues and managers alike. They will work effectively within the team to achieve and exceed both factory and team targets set within the business.

- Checking Objects, work, procedures, etc.
- Checking completed work to current site quality standards.
- Checking adherence to schedules. Understands benefits of achieving site KPI's.
- Creating good team spirit.
- Analysing/Integrating/Interpreting: Identifying problems in physical process/machinery.
- Breaking down a procedure into logical steps.
- Summarising numerical & verbal information. Reading plans/diagrams.
- Handling information: Entering details into system, ascertaining job requirements.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Experience within a Production or Manufacturing environment or be able to demonstrate an educational background with Manufacturing or Engineering focus.
- Fault Finding and an eye for detail.
- Previous qualifications and experience within a mechanical or technical environment - advantageous but not essential.
- FLT license is desirable
- A good standard of IT literacy - highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SAP systems - beneficial.
