Requirements
Your Role
As a Production Associate you will play a key role in the hands-on operations and running of our central insect farm. You will be joining a small highly passionate and enthusiastic team, who will support in your training and development as a specialist. Collectively you will be ensuring our production site continuously runs to a high standard, as well as supporting expansion projects as we continue to scale up.
Role specifics:
- Being hands-on within our production site and insect farm, managing and maintaining our insect colonies
- Preparing and feeding of fly and larvae colonies
- Counting, sorting and packing larvae for distribution
- Working alongside Biology and other Operations teams to ensure the site runs to its maximum potential with high levels of hygiene
- Documenting processes and identifying areas for continuous improvement
- Monitoring systems to ensure running optimally
- Being involved in a fast growing sustainability business looking to help solve climate change and eliminate food waste!
What we're looking for:
- Committed to working 12hr days (4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern)
- Able to access our site in Cambridgeshire, CB21 5DA
- Be of sound physical health, capable of lifting 20kg trays
