Job Description
£38,000-£2,000 + benefits
 Days: Sunday to Wednesday, 05:30-17:30
 (Kent)
We're The Collective Network, and we're working with one of the UK's biggest names in fresh produce. You've almost definitely eaten their products - you just didn't know it.
They run 364 days a year, supplying pretty much every major supermarket, which means they don't have time for passengers. They're after a Senior Production Supervisor who can lead from the front, motivate big teams, and keep things running smoother than a mango purée.
This isn't a clipboard-and-coffee kind of role. It's hands-on. You'll be managing a shift with up to 400 people on site at peak times - helping to hit production plans, keep standards tight, and constantly look for ways to do things better, faster, smarter.
You'll be the right hand to the Shift Manager. When they're not around, you'll be the one keeping the whole show on the road.
The day-to-day looks like:
Making sure production targets are met - on time, within cost, and without compromising quality.
Keeping food safety and CCP standards rock solid.
Coaching, developing and supporting supervisors so they can do the same with their teams.
Managing rotas, agencies, and timesheets - accuracy counts here.
Running investigations and disciplinaries when needed (you'll have HR support).
Working with Planning and Production to deliver the next 24-hour cycle.
Constantly looking for ways to improve - processes, people, performance
Were looking for someone who
Has at least 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within food manufacturing .
Knows how to manage and develop large teams (50+ minimum).
Understands operational P&L - not just what it is, but how it affects your shift.
 Holds HACCP Level 3 (non-negotiable).
Ideally has IOSH Managing Safely and experience in fresh produce .
Can use Excel for more than just typing in numbers.
Communicates clearly and confidently - on the floor and in meeting
You'll thrive here if you're:
Organised, proactive, and good under pressure.
Energetic - because this site doesn't slow down.
A proper people leader - someone who supports, coaches, and expects high standards.
What's in it for you:
Up to £ ,000 depending on experience.
Free, on-site parking (with EV charge points).
A subsidised canteen with decent hot meals.
Staff events, recognition awards, and real career development.
A supportive leadership team who'll actually listen.
This is a cracking opportunity for someone who's already in food manufacturing and wants to take a step up - or sideways - into a business that values performance and people equally.
If that sounds like you, drop us a line at The Collective Network .
We'll talk you through the details, the culture, and whether this one's worth your time.
