Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling & Planning
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, stock levels, and machine capacity.
- Ensure production deadlines are met while optimising machine efficiency and minimising downtime.
- Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands.
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to align scheduling with raw material availability and customer requirements.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding production status and potential delays.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce waste.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 4+ years in production planning based role (skills in the print/packaging industry are preferred not essential)
- Skills: Strong understanding of production scheduling software ie. ERP/MRP systems. (Training provided)
- Problem Solving: Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Team Player: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
