Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Production Operator to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
- R sponsible for operating machinery, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing area.
- Monitor machine performance and report issues to management. li>Physically move tooling, fittings, and materials as needed.
- Inspect fittings and report quality concerns promptly.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensure any defective parts are properly segregated.
- Provide support to colleagues and offer absence cover to maintain output. li>Take part in continuous improvement activities and support other tasks within the manufacturing department.
Requirements:
- li>Previous experience in a manufacturing or production line environment.
- Good technical ability with a machine setter background. li>Experience following work-based procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Strong safety awareness with experience in safe systems of work and waste handling procedures.
- Confidence in taking responsibility within defined limits of authority.
Salary: £31,737 Per Annum (including shift premium).
Working hours: Days, Nights and Afters, 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am.

We're working with a well-established manufacturing business in the Dewsbury area, and they are currently seeking reliable, hardworking batching operatives to join their team.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you'll be involved in the pouring of concrete, preparation and cleaning of steel moulds, as well as supporting the production of high-quality materials. The work is predominantly outdoors and continues in all weather conditions, perfect for someone who enjoys being active and practical.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual handling and lifting of materials
Cleaning, setting, and filling long-line steel moulds
Performing routine quality checks and recording results
Cleaning and maintaining machinery and equipment
Following all health and safety procedures
Supporting the wider team to meet daily production targets
What We're Looking For:

As a Production Operator your main accountability will be to achieve performance targets by operating machines and systems. In addition to this, you will be ensuring that the process runs at its optimum, producing high quality product and coordinating actions where necessary.

A Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer are seeking Production Operators to join the team at their site in Kirklees. The role will predominantly involve the manufacture of APIs and intermediates for pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP standards. This would be an ideal role for a Graduate of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering looking to get started in the pharmaceutical industry, or for an experienced operator looking for a change.
Role Overview
- Production of APIs/Intermediates in accordance with SOPs
- Sampling of products and participation in Root Cause investigations in line with QC Procedures.
- Maintain high standards in relation to safety and complete all work in line with cGMP
- Shift Patterns of 12 hour shifts including days/nights/weekends. 4 on 4 off.
Requirements
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant discipline ( Chemistry or Chemical Engineering) OR equivalent experience in a similar chemical or pharmaceutical environment.
- Some previous experience in cGMP Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment/ experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts including days/nights/weekends.
