This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you'll be involved in the pouring of concrete, preparation and cleaning of steel moulds, as well as supporting the production of high-quality materials. The work is predominantly outdoors and continues in all weather conditions, perfect for someone who enjoys being active and practical.
Key Responsibilities:

This role will cover Sunday to Wednesday with a 4 on / 3 off fixed shift pattern based at Stourton Dairy.
There will also be an ad-hoc requirement to cover other weekdays and Saturdays to ensure continual 7 day Scheduling cover at Stourton.
How will you make an impact?
- Ensure plans are optimised to account for multiple constraints and complexities including Preventative Maintenance and significant planned outages
- Update and provide daily requirement reports and snapshots to other functions
- Create and maintain category specific SOP documentation to aid training and cover
- Key contributor to filling and process capacity mapping
- Work withSite Scheduling Team Leaderto improve reporting suite of key KPIs
- Produce and frequently review PEAK plans for Creamery categories
- Continually review planning parameters such as stock cover policies and production frequency to ensure service commitments are met at best cost to the business
- Foster relationships with all site functions, network planning, transport scheduling, product management and commercial teams etc.
- Maintenance of planning master data (both APO and PS1)
- Provide daily cover across other categories e.g. Dairy Scheduling and Component Planning as appropriate
- Provide cover for Site Scheduling Team Leader as required
What you will need to succeed
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in an FMCG environment, ideally within a similar Site Scheduler, Planner or Supply Planning role and with a proven understanding of site level operations and the end to end supply chain. They will have an analytical mindset and be excited by change. The candidate will have an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from all levels of the business. They will approach problem solving with a mindset of root cause identification and continual improvement. Previous SAP/APO experience is also a significant advantage.

Requirements of the role
* Operate extrusion and conversion machine-lines including loading and
removing 25kg product rolls from the machine, packaging, checking, recording
and filling raw material bins.
* Follow company Health & Safety, Hygiene and Quality rules as laid out in the employee handbook.
* Follow work procedures and ensure you are fully trained in the safe systems of work.
* Blend and mix all raw materials or use ready produced films as required by job card details.
* Operate the conversion, bagging machine/s and extrusion lines (to the level of your training), producing film and bags to the detailed specifications on Job Cards.
* Pack and warehouse products according to the requirements of the customer, job card and your shift supervisor.
* Make sure machine operation is clean and running at speeds to maximise job production, quality and accuracy.
* Make sure that rejects are removed from the system and are cut-up for recycling.
* Make sure that production records (quality checks, roll/box weight and quantity) are timely and accurately kept.
* Keep machinery and your work area in clean order, and report any machinery or product faults to your supervisor for further action.
*Overtime may be required to cover holidays and other absence.
