Duties of the Production Line Leader will include:

  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained, people are wearing correct PPE and corrective action is taken where necessary
  • Manage Production activity ensuring quality targets are met through the effective use of KPIs
  • Ensure staffing levels are correct for requirements
  • Ensure GMP and housekeeping standards are always audit ready
  • Provide coaching and leadership to all team members, identifying any training needs

Hours: Monday – Friday 6:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00 weekly rotation


Reporting to the Production Shift Manager, the Production Line Leader is responsible for managing a team of Production Line Operators with a focus on identifying opportunities to improve functionality and efficiency.

Duties of the Production Line Leader will include:

  • Report near misses and accidents, investigate problems, agree and implement actions
  • Ensure labour resource is utilised correctly to hit production targets
  • GMP and housekeeping standards are maintained
  • Drive effective performance across production / packing areas
  • Promote continuous improvement culture, taking opportunities to drive process improvements

Role Overview
