We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our global applications and deployment team.

You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge RF technology and real-world missions — deploying CRFS systems worldwide, supporting customer operations, and helping to ensure our products perform flawlessly in the field.


This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role requiring strong technical ability, adaptability, and excellent communication. You’ll work closely with our customers (including defense, government, and system integrators), delivering on-site support, training, and system validation across a variety of environments.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deploy, test, and commission CRFS RFeye systems for customers around the world.
  • Deliver technical training and demonstrations to users and partners.
  • Support live trials, field evaluations, and proof-of-concept deployments.
  • Diagnose and resolve system issues in collaboration with CRFS engineering teams.
  • Perform pre-shipment testing, equipment configuration, and post-deployment verification.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, configurations, and field reports.
  • Provide customer feedback to influence future product and feature development.
  • Support continuous improvement of deployment processes, documentation, and training materials.


Experience and Qualifications Required

  • STEM background or ability to learn
  • Confident communicator able to represent CRFS in front of customers and partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills under time pressure.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally (typically 30–40% of time).
  • Eligible for UK security clearance.

· Installing, glanding and terminating a wide range of multi-core cables (XPLE/SWA) as well as fabrication and installation of ladder, tray and basket containment.

· Installing control equipment, MCCs, isolators, distribution boards, e-stops, various instrumentation (rotation sensors, level sensors etc.) and industrial single-phase and 3-phase Star and Delta motors

Qualifications & Experience

· ECS registered and fully quailed, including AM2

· BS th or 17th edition Wiring Regulations qualified

· Background in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water or other heavy industry
