This role requires a proactive and collaborative individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to organize information. The ideal candidate will excel at facilitating effective communication, streamlining collaboration efforts, and providing project support to the head of mobility & immigration.The role will be responsible for the development and curation of engaging content for internal communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy by collaborating with the mobility & immigration team.
What you will need to succeed in this role
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience in communications, collaboration, and document management.
- Experience supporting senior management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Proficiency in collaboration tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel).
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
This role will require you to work 3 days per week in the Belfast office, so candidates within Northern Ireland will be given preference, and we would not consider someone relocating for this role. This role is set up to support the delivery of a large-scale restructure programme, supporting and enabling the business to implement changes to reduce cost, improve service, increase productivity, and deliver growth.
This fixed-term role will provide support through the provision of accurate and timely financial management information, collaborating with business units to gather data, validate assumptions, and report on performance against financial projections and targets.
The role will also be expected to take on elements of project delivery to assist with the successful implementation including data analysis and document preparation.
Role will involve the below duties
- Assist on the production of all required project documentation
- Help identify and agree financial project deliverables with Project Manager
- Continuously review financial project business case to ensure delivery of benefits
- Assist Key Project Stakeholders/Lead in having visibility of financial: targets, changes, and projections
- Ensure escalation to the Project Lead of any financial risks & issues that cannot be controlled within the project
- Create plans for elements of project delivery allocated by the Project Manager
- Assist in the achievement of financial and non-financial benefits and milestones identified in the business case
- Be an active participant in the project team, reviewing and updating as appropriate
- Support in ensuring project risks and issues are identified and escalated, informing mitigation plans put in place
- Support in collating project reports
- Provision of management information in a timely fashion
- Build good working relationships with Project Managers and Stakeholders to ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being pro-actively managed and key delivery milestones achieved
