Manpower is currently seeking an interim Project Finance Executive, to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral easily accessible by train and car. This is a full-time temporary role until 30th September 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (four days based on-site with one day working from home). Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to 45,000 per annum, pro rata.
JOB PURPOSE
The role requires a diligent resource to support the PSL site transformation team with administrative and project management activities. The role will report into site controller with dotted line reporting into site transformation lead to ensure seamless execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process / tool ownership and responsibilities :
- Support the transformation team in projects execution especially focusing on finance activities related to spends management, savings tracking, POs and payments etc.
- Work closely with site leadership to track transformation benefits into factory asset and cost base.
- Support reviews of capex, restructuring and savings vs business cases.
- Ensure close tracking and monitoring of projects milestones and timelines
- Support new processes and master-data set up related to the transformation.
- Insightful delivery on ad-hoc analytics / requests and value opportunity identification.
ALL ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in Accounting (ACCA, CIMA), Finance or related fields
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience with strong Leadership skills
- Prior work experience in Supply Chain Finance is strongly preferred; Consumer Product Goods (CPG) preferred
- ERP Experience required; SAP preferred
- Microsoft Office required; Advanced Excel required
- Business partnering experience with clear, focused, and sound financial assessment and guidance (strategic insights, risks, and opportunities)
- Providing incisive and persuasive management performance reporting and analysis solutions across multiple organizational dimensions
- Developing strong personal and team relationships across a multitude of business stakeholders?

Our market leading Structured Finance department is responsible for i) marketing, ii) originating and iii) structuring project finance transactions in the EMEA region across the Infrastructure and Energy sectors. Operating as a product expert, contributing to the origination, structuring and execution of the project finance product in the Infrastructure sector. Contribution to the originate-to-distribute strategy for EMEA is key as is working with both origination and distribution platforms to maximise related opportunities.

The non-functional nature of this role means that you will not be able to transact (which means lead any structuring, credit, execution or commitment discussions) on behalf of any MUS legal entity; though through your role in Project Finance you will be able to share data and information, attend both internal and external meetings, offering up views and opinions. All recommendations and final decisions around structure, credit, pricing, execution and commitment must be made by a MUS employee or a functional dual-hat employee **.**

**OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT/SECTION**
As a Sales Person within the Derivative Solutions Group (DSG) team, you will assist with our EMEA client base (focus in UK, Middle East and Africa for Corporates, Project Finance, Financial Sponsors, others) to assess their financial risks and to effectively manage their hedging policy with a focus on Interest Rates Derivatives.
Alongside our Debt Capital Markets team and in close partnership with MUFG Bank (Leveraged Finance, Project Finance, Aviation Finance, Securitisation etc.) and MUFG Securities Rates Trading Group, DSG ensure that our clients experience seamless execution that meets their objectives, providing ideas /solutions, competitive pricings, and robust post-trade support. Main products include interest rate swaps, cross currency swaps, rate options, inflation swaps, structured derivatives
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**
Engage with MUFG targeted clients (Corporates, Financial Sponsors, Project Finance companies and others) to develop/enhance our derivatives franchise and contribute to the desku2019s revenue targets through trade execution.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Managing and developing relationships with key MUFG Bank clients with a view to expand the Department/Unit/International Business enhancing the franchise of MUFG Securities.
Accurately price, model, execute and book all relevant transactions and all risk positions.
Be responsible for sharing pricing requests with the relevant trading desks (including XVA and CVA desk), and providing accurate information required for pricing.
Work closely with other internal teams (Debt Capital markets, Project Finance, Leverages Finance etc) to promote and increase cross selling across the firm.
Take the lead on the production of tailor-made client presentations and pitch-books incorporating news, economic data and macro themes that are relevant to our customers.
Be responsible for managing and leading all internal workstreams for our clients and across all aspects, including KYC, legal documentation, lifecycle management and dealing with any issues arising during the lifecycle of a trade.
Work closely and collaborate with the rest of the DSG team, covering client requests when needed.
Work on new initiatives/product development as decided by the head of DSG team.
**WORK EXPERIENCE**

Experience in interest rate derivatives products, structured products a plus
