Based at the Customer’s site, the Project Controls Officer shall be responsible for the development and delivery of the following core functions within the Engineering & Construction department:
• Governance reporting, including the compilation of key datasets, performance indicators and metrics
• Preparing and maintaining SharePoint and Power BI dashboards
• Planning and schedule development within a multi-project environment, including analysing and
reporting key metrics from integrated programmes (Primavera and MS Project)
• Change control (financial/governance)
• Risk management
Furthermore, the role will require the candidate to:
• Work with the wider Project Controls function to ensure departmental deliverables are prepared on time and communicated clearly within the team, e.g., Project Management Plan
• Support the Project Controls leadership with administration and wider team organisation
The role requires an individual that has excellent inter-personal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse cohort of individuals. The role supports the Project Control leadership and therefore the individual shall be comfortable conversing and operating with Senior Leaders and can add value across the breadth of the Engineering & Construction department.
Additionally, the role may
require overseeing and supporting the following sub-areas:
• Travel services
• Digitalisation of processes (identification and testing)
• Action tracking
• Contract tasks database
• Act as Technical Secretary for Governance Meetings
Qualifications and Experience:
• Educated to degree level within a STEM subject is desirable
• Demonstrable experience of Project Controls functions within the construction or utilities space
• and with at least two years’ experience working in any of the following environments:
• UK Gas or LNG Projects
• Oil & Gas Projects
• Petrochemical Projects
• LNG Production, Storage, Vaporisation, or Shipping
• Cryogenic Pipeline, Process or Gas Compression
• Top tier COMAH sites

Responsibilities :
- Establish/maintain or adhere to the specific PC governance, processes and procedures across the project and in accordance with the related customer contract (where relevant).
- Establish the Performance Measurement Baseline position in terms of scope/cost/schedule and the ongoing governance control of these.
- Manage scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise, and analyse integrated project schedules including all phases of project execution, including contract partnerships and relevant sub-suppliers.
