About the Role
We’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer to support the successful delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health services across vital infrastructure projects. You'll be involved from tender stage through to final handover, ensuring systems are commissioned effectively, safely, and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design reviews with a focus on commissionability and handover planning.
- Assist in preparing commissioning strategies, procedures, and schedules.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients throughout the commissioning lifecycle.
- Review technical documentation and method statements.
- Coordinate and attend site commissioning visits and meetings.

**Position Summary:**
The Global Project Engineering team is a group of Engineers and Project Managers responsible for, but not limited to, the design, planning, purchasing and configuration of production equipment and systems in Warner Bros. Discovery's Production and Broadcast facilities within the EMEA region. The GPE Project Engineer position is intended to assist in the design, build, and creation of technical builds at WBD, and to provide technical expertise on new media project initiatives in the advancement of WBD's media and production infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Part of the team responsible for the design and planning of new and upgraded production systems at WBD, including facility changes, equipment purchases, budget tracking and scheduling.
+ Consult with Operations teams to gather requirements, conceptualize design, budget, and manage the deployment of new systems and/ or upgrades to existing systems.
+ Collaborate with other Engineering groups to design, install, and commission new systems.
+ Write and maintain engineering SOP's pertaining to the operations and maintenance of broadcast and production systems including but not limited to plant routing systems, sync and reference systems, distribution and standards conversion hardware, fiber and satellite transmit/receive systems, VOD production systems, and other production related equipment.
+ Create, keep and maintain current technical documentation of facility, including CAD drawings, SOP's and User manuals. Also, to include templates for managing projects such as Master Equipment Lists (MELs), project scope documents and project schedule tracking.
+ Assist team in tracking incoming equipment against purchase orders to confirm receipt and correctness.
+ Evaluate new technology and make recommendations regarding equipment selection, software selection and testing with the Operations Department.
+ Assist with setting up demos and training for new or potential equipment and software.
+ Interface with vendors and clients and internal management teams.
+ Provide support to production staff as needed.
+ Ability to share knowledge and maintain relationships with other technical teams and facilities.
+ The ability to use monitoring tools (Service Now, Asset DB entry, Solarwinds, Splunk, SNMP, Ivanti Heat) working knowledge of NDIs and support ticket data entry and tracking.

**Requirements:**

The Ideal Project Engineer
- The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in project management in a fast-moving, private-label manufacturing environment.
- The Project Manager must be a great communicator with a track record of stakeholder management within fast paced manufacturing. The ability to handle objections at senior level and influence key stakeholders, with a view to improving plant process and achieve OEE targets.
- Technically you will be an expert in the management of liquid processing focussed projects with a preferable background in chemical/chemistry education. In addition, you will have successfully implemented a project centred around lean manufacturing strategy.
- Ideally you will have a degree in a relevant area extending to Engineering or manufacturing, chemistry related.
