You will be mapping out planned activities, implementing effective information sharing processes and ensuring robust governance arrangements between programmes.

About the Role

Liverpool Bay CCS Limited, a member of the Eni S.p.A. group, is the owner and operator of the Liverpool Bay Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Transportation and Storage (T&S) infrastructure. This project is a key component of the HyNet North West Industrial Cluster, aimed at reducing carbon emissions in the North West of England and North Wales. Liverpool Bay CCS Ltd works with hard-to-abate industries in the North West of England and North Wales, to transport captured CO2 from various plants to safe and permanent storage beneath Liverpool Bay. The company is repurposing some of its existing infrastructure, including depleted reservoirs that have held natural gas for millions of years, to support economic growth in the region and help the UK achieve its Net Zero objectives. Main responsibilities :
  • Support the Package Manager (PM) in managing project controls for the allocated work package(s).
  • Attend meetings with contractors and conduct site visits.
  • Maintain and update the package control schedule, and support the Project Control Department in integrating it into the Integrated LBCCS schedule.

  • Experience working on pipeline-related projects.
  • Experience using Primavera P6 and Sharepoint is essential. (Experience with Assai or Xflow would be an advantage)
  • Fluent level of English.
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).

Temporary Project Control Officer

Location: Westminster (Hybrid Working)
Contract Type: Contract - 9 Months with a possible extension
Hourly Rate: 19.18 per hour
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SC clearance or hold a valid SC clearance

About the Role

Our Government client is seeking an experienced Project Control Officer to support project delivery within the Engineering & Operations - Project Management Team. This is a key role providing essential support to Project Managers on a wide range of government-related programmes.

You'll be based primarily in Westminster with a flexible hybrid working model (minimum 60% on-site). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile public sector organisation via our agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full project support to Programme and Project Managers
  • Coordinate project documentation, meetings, agendas and action points
  • Monitor risks, issues, and project milestones
  • Track project budgets and provide accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain project plans using MS Project
  • Ensure commercial compliance including gate reviews and documentation
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support project progress
  • Represent Project Managers in meetings when required

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience supporting large or multiple projects in a structured environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
  • Financially literate - able to manage budgets and produce accurate reports
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and MS Project (2007 or later)
  • APM Fundamentals or PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner certified

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Oracle financial systems

Contracted Hours: Full time - 37 hours/week (Monday to Friday)

  • Security Clearance:
    • Must be a British Citizen (or hold dual nationality)
    • Must have been resident in the UK for at least 2 of the last 5 years
    • Will be required to undergo SC clearance (if not already held)
