Location: Montrose, Angus - full time Role Summary We are looking for an experienced HV Project Engineer to oversee and manage high-voltage electrical maintenance activities across onshore renewable energy site. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of planned and reactive HV maintenance works, supporting asset availability and operational excellence across a portfolio of transmission-connected infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver HV maintenance activities: inspections, protection testing, oil sampling, fault diagnosis, repair, and replacement in line with OEM and regulatory standards. li>Drive a proactive, zero-tolerance safety culture in collaboration with HSE and site management teams.
- Ensure RAMS are prepared, reviewed, and implemented for all works.
- Plan and coordinate the deployment of personnel, tools, and equipment to deliver scheduled maintenance programs and unplanned works.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and internal teams to align operational activities with wider program goals.
- Support asset integrity by updating maintenance reports, logging defects, and feeding into asset management systems.
- Manage subcontractors on site, including inductions, compliance monitoring, and performance oversight.
