We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our team with a focus on accommodation building projects for the Ministry of Defence. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in construction project management while working on meaningful, impactful programmes.


What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with our Project Managers & Senior Project Managers to support the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to final delivery. You’ll take ownership of specific tasks and administrative duties to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting project planning and reporting
  • Managing project documentation and data
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Assisting with cost control, risk management, and contract administration
  • Scheduling meetings, tracking actions, and maintaining project records
  • Ensuring compliance with Reds10’s ISO standards and H&S policies


What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is interested in developing a career in construction, is organised, motivated, and eager to learn. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively across teams.


Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Project/Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge and interest in project management or the built environment
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communication skills


Desirable:

  • Working towards APM, RICS, CIOB or similar professional membership

Overall purpose of the role:

To orchestrate and drive the Compliance stream of the bank-wide initiative , a CEO-sponsored transformation focused on leveraging new technologies, such as AI , to reinvent operational playbooks and increase efficiency across the organisation. The immediate goal is to define the strategic framework, secure resources, and create the detailed execution plan for the multi-year program's formal launch.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Define the "bare bones" structure, plan, and organisational approach for the Compliance stream of the Big Rocks program during the critical initiation phase.

  • Orchestrate the entire project front-to-back , establishing detailed project plans, defining required governance, and mapping out resource needs.

  • Develop a multi-year strategic roadmap with the immediate target of creating a robust 3-year rollout plan by mid-next year.

  • Collaborate with all divisions within Compliance, bridging diverse stakeholders and guiding them to rethink and change their ways of working.

  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including very senior MD-level executives and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to establish appropriate governance structures.

  • Lead the process for formal budget approvals and secure the necessary resources for the program's execution phase, which is scheduled to commence formally in 2027.

  • Maintain a clear command of the program's direction and confidently articulate how tasks need to be executed to ensure progress.

Key Skills:


  • Compliance Expertise: A strong background in Banking / Financial Services Compliance is required, as the role's focus is on the compliance stream of the program. Experience with risk and controls frameworks is highly advantageous.

  • Transformation & Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in leading or contributing to large-scale transformation programs that successfully unify diverse stakeholders (up to MD level) and drive significant changes to ways of working.

  • Project Initiation & Planning: Expertise in the initiation stage of major projects , including defining scope, developing detailed front-to-back plans, establishing governance, and resource mapping.

  • Communication & Leadership: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently direct the project's execution and engage with very senior stakeholders.

  • Industry Experience: Experience within the broader Financial Services sector is required , with a strong preference for direct experience in the banking environment .

  • Methodologies & Tools: Familiarity with hybrid methodologies; experience with Agile is a bonus. Experience with project planning tools like MS Project is ideal but not essential.

  • Note: This is an individual contributor role with no formal team management responsibilities.

Role overview: 

As Project Manager Level: C3 or Senior Project Manager Level: SC1 you will play an important role within the Project Management Function.

The Project Management function leads the delivery of our solutions and owns the end-to-end project lifecycle. While Project Managers may deliver any product in the LEA Reply suite, their foundational experience is in Warehouse Management System implementations, enabling them to bring credibility, structure and operational understanding to every engagement. They are accountable for delivering our scope to time, budget and quality, while working hand-in-hand with the customer’s Project Manager to ensure the success of the wider programme. Using their WMS background and real-world operational insight, they help facilitate and guide Design workshops, mentor their project team, and advise customers throughout their journey, ensuring solutions are not only deliverable but effective in a live warehouse environment.

The function owns all Logistics Reply delivery activities across the Design, Build, Test and Deploy phases, providing structure, governance and delivery discipline. This includes maintaining detailed project plans, RAID logs, action and decision registers, status reporting, phase-gate control and robust change management. Project Managers also support customer-led activities such as UAT, data preparation, operational readiness and business change, ensuring momentum is maintained and all parties remain aligned. Their leadership includes guiding and developing assigned project resources, fostering accountability, and ensuring every phase progresses smoothly toward go-live.

Operating primarily within our waterfall-aligned WMS implementation methodology, the Project Management function also coordinates Agile or sprint-based development where custom work is required. Acting as trusted partners, our Project Managers blend confident leadership with empathy and influence, bringing clarity to complex situations and fostering a collaborative delivery culture. Their focus is on predictable outcomes, operational readiness and a smooth transition into business-as-usual, built on transparency, shared ownership and trust.

Your contractual place of work will be either our London or Manchester office, with a hybrid working policy that allows you to work from home unless required to attend the office for collaboration, meetings, training, reviews, or customer engagements, or to work on-site with customers or prospects as necessary

Key Responsibilities:

  1. End-to-End Project Delivery: Own the full project lifecycle across the Design, Build, Test and Deploy phases, ensuring delivery to scope, timeline and quality expectations.
  2. Governance & RAID Management: Maintain structured Project Plans, RAID Logs, Change Control and Status Reporting, ensuring clear visibility and proactive risk mitigation.
  3. Stakeholder Alignment & Leadership: Chair Governance Forums, manage escalation paths, facilitate decision-making, and build strong relationships with Customer Sponsors, SMEs and IT Leads to maintain programme alignment.
  4. Customer Collaboration & Support: Work closely with the Customer Project Manager to plan and support all customer led activities including UAT, Operational Readiness, Data Preparation and Business Change, ensuring shared ownership of success.
  5. Team Coordination & Communication: Coordinate cross-functional workstreams including Functional Consulting, Technical Architecture, Software Engineering and Support Teams to maintain momentum and resolve blockers quickly.
  6. Cutover, Go Live & Hypercare: Lead Cutover Planning, oversee Go Live Execution, and ensure a stable transition through Hypercare and into Business-as-Usual Support.

About the candidate: 

You will be degree educated with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.


  • A Consultant 3 (C3 - Experienced Professional) role is suited to individuals who are capable professionals able to deliver assigned work consistently and with minimal supervision. Candidates at this level manage more complex tasks, contribute confidently in client or project settings, and may begin mentoring junior colleagues. They are expected to identify potential improvements and take ownership of their development and that of their peers. Minimum Industry Experience: 3 - 6 years


  • Who You Are: A Senior Consultant 1 (SC1 - Specialist / Emerging Leader) role is suited to experienced professionals who demonstrate expertise in their field and are capable of managing complex projects or initiatives. Candidates at this level are confident working directly with clients, making decisions that impact business outcomes, and supporting the wider team with knowledge sharing and mentoring.
