**Team/Role Overview**
The Markets Program Execution & Transformation team works with all Markets businesses, Operations and Citi functions (including Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk and Technology) to identify, mobilize and execute responses to regulatory and cross-business transformational projects. The primary mission of the team is to design and implement integrated business solutions and sustainable capabilities in the most efficient and effective way for Markets and its clients.
**What you'll do**
+ Represent Markets in Citi Program Management Council (CPMC) forums and taskforces, provide Markets input into policy and standards development.
+ Responsible for enforcing Citi's Enterprise Program and Project Management policy and standards across the Markets Book of Work
+ Tracking and maintaining the quality of the project execution, program management performance and staffing capacity
+ Providing oversight to elements of the Markets Book of Work in the areas of project mobilization, planning, issues and risks tracking, stakeholders management, resourcing, and governance & reporting
+ Undertaking project management related knowledge management and post-implementation reviews
+ Developing and delivering presentations to senior management covering project / program status and plans
+ Leading, supervising, coaching and developing more junior Markets Program Execution & Transformation team members
**What we'll need from you**
+ Significant industry experience & knowledge with a delivery focused track record is essential.
+ Demonstrate knowledge and experience of successfully running multiple business change programs within a Markets trading environment (1st Line of Defense)
+ Demonstrate a consistent track record of delivery excellence having worked as a Program or Project Manager, managing teams on complex, agile, cross-functional front office business projects
+ Demonstrate knowledge and experience of the development and application of project standards, processes and training materials
+ Knowledge of global markets trading products and services (Fixed Income, Equity, Currencies & Commodities)
+ Previous experience working in a 'Big 4' or 'Mid-Tier' Consulting firm and Project Management certification (Prince 2, APM, PMI, IAPM, PPM, etc.) preferred

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking two experienced Project Managers who will initially manage delivery of workstreams within the UK Digital Twin Centre Programme.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)

Collaborating closely with colleagues across business development, product, technology, marketing and finance you will design, lead, plan, initiate, resource, monitor and ensure delivery of the activities of projects on budget, on time, and at a suitable quality level in order to achieve the desired project impact. You will:

  • Plan and manage the delivery of complex innovation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes
  • Monitor project performance, manage risks and implement mitigation strategies as necessary
  • Ensure that the tasks on the project are clearly defined and agreed with internal and external stakeholders and progressed to the agreed timescale, budget and expected impact using the appropriate controls, processes and procedures, whilst maintaining an audit trail
  • Initiate and maintain all project artefacts such as budgets, RAID logs, RACI matrices, milestones, project plans and resource plans
  • Coordinate, enthuse and engage cross-functional teams including technologists, researchers, and external stakeholders, building strong relationships
  • Manage suppliers and 3rd party vendors ensuring contracted deliverables are on time, on budget and of expected quality. This may include evaluation of prospective suppliers prior to engagement. 
  • Report through regular status updates, initiate and run regular stand-up meetings, update sessions and workshops as needed. 
  • Along with the relevant internal stakeholders, plan and develop coherent project strategy, structure (workstreams and tasks), and resourcing plans. Define realistic goals, milestones and targets that will lead to the required outcomes and impact. 
  • Ensure compliance with programme and project governance including ISO9001 and ISO27001 standard as well as with funding and reporting requirements (e.g. Innovate UK, Horizon Europe) 

Requirements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Experience)

  • Experience delivering Collaborative Research and Development (CR&D) projects
  • Significant hands-on project management experience in an IT or Technology setting
  • Thorough knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, JIRA, Trello or Confluence
  • Experience of managing Agile and/or Waterfall projects
  • Ideally formal Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master, APM, etc.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
