Job Description – Project Delivery Manager (with Data Analytics Focus)  

As a Project Delivery Manager at 4GLOBAL, you will support Project Directors, Account Directors and the wider senior management team in delivering leading projects across the sport and physical activity sector. Working closely with highly experienced subject matter experts in sport, health, and data analytics, you will be a key part of the team driving excellence across our Knowledge Services and Technology areas of the business. 

A successful Project Delivery Manager will act as the day-to-day point of contact with clients and stakeholders from across the industry, including local and national government, commercial companies, and public sector organisations. You must be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and passionate about getting people active. You should have a strong understanding of - or transferable skills relevant to - the sports, health, or data analytics industries. 

We need you to understand how to deliver highly successful projects, share best practice across 4GLOBAL, and leverage data-driven insights to influence decisions. Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who combines sharp analytical thinking with great communication and a collaborative spirit. You’ll have at least four years’ experience in a similar role and a passion for turning data into meaningful insight and impact.


You’ll bring:

  • Experience using data analysis, modelling or business intelligence tools to inform decision-making and improve project delivery
  • A proven ability to deliver client projects with measurable outcomes and clear performance tracking
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build lasting relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Excellent written, numerical and presentation skills, and the confidence to explain complex analytical findings in clear, accessible ways
  • Solid IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office, and ideally experience with data tools such as Excel Power BI, Tableau or Python-based analytics.
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and reporting, and an understanding of data governance or reporting frameworks

Purpose Of Role:

This role gets projects delivered on time, to budget and to the quality levels required by Connected Kerb. It is a critical role within Connected Kerb’s delivery team, accountable for leading the e2e delivery of the large EVCP Local Authority (LA) contracts Connected Kerb has won. Requirements

•    Delivering project / Work Package Orders to accepted cost, programme & quality

•    Follow the e2e Design & Build process, covering all aspects of how projects are planned and executed

About the Role

You will be a member of Dar’s Project Team, where you will play a key role in managing the implementation of digital platforms in buildings and infrastructure projects. As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be a true domain expert, responsible for working with clients to identify use cases and create unique value propositions, mapping out data and technical requirements to deliver to-spec solutions.


The ideal candidate has well-rounded experience in managing the deployment of building solutions, including technical and functional knowledge in testing and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems as well as working knowledge of IoT platforms, data analytics, and cloud solutions. Knowledge of Edge Computing and Digital Twins would be of significant benefit in this role. Responsibilities

  • Identify the use cases and value propositions in close coordination with Clients and other Stakeholders
  • Manage the relationship with the Client representatives
  • Check and Analyze the different IT and OT data sources
  • Understand the workflows and systems inside the different buildings
  • Adapt the platform modules / dashboards to the project, in terms of UI and analytics, in collaboration with the Product Managers
  • Devise project specific algorithms for optimization / prescriptive controls
  • Devise project specific algorithms and methods for automated fault detection and diagnostics
  • Identify the data required to be integrated based on the use cases
  • Use the Admin Panel to deploy the solution and to configure rules, conditions and visuals
  • Identify the data to be processed and analyzed based on the use cases
  • Coordinate and follow up with the tech team for the implementation of the platform (including data acquisition, data validation, data analytics and data visualization)


Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Data Science / Analytics from a reputed university, with at least 10 years of professional experience
  • Hands-on Experience in managing the deployment of building solutions / platforms is required, including defining technical and functional requirements and working with the development team
  • Hands-on Experience in the design, implementation or testing/commissioning of Instrumentation & Control Systems including integrations with 3rd party systems is required
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms, IoT gateways, data acquisition, data analytics and cloud solutions is required
  • Knowledge of Edge Computing and Digital Twins is preferable
  • Experience in coding (Python, React, Javascript, etc.) and in designing and developing Graphical User Interfaces (GUI’s) / dashboards is a plus
  • Holding certifications from relevant organizations/training institutes is also desirable

Our client is an Established top tier contractor, focusing on projects in and around London. You will be Leading the precon and construction phases of a new build 25,000 m2 steel frame Warehouse with a 3 storey commercial fit out circa £35M. Working closely with the inhouse design and commercial team prior to site mobilisation to the North Home Counties.

You will:

  • Develop and implement detailed project programmes and schedules to enable accurate monitoring and reporting.
  • Identifying quality expectations and ensuring the golden thread is maintained.
  • Support the PCSA and relevant RIBA Stages though Delivery to hand over alongside the Design and Commercial teams.
  • Drawing up construction safety plans.
  • Secure and manage the appropriate resources to deliver the project to ensure successful delivery.
  • Establish a communications plan and agree accountabilities for team members.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing project updates and reports.
  • Manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met, and projects are completed on time.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Implement all statutory regulatory requirements for managing Health and Safety.


You will have:

  • A relevant construction Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience of New Build Steel Frame (Warehouse) projects circa £25M, D&B contracts.
  • Taken projects early RIBA stages, Precon/Design through Delivery.
