About the Role

We are looking for a Project Supervisor (Mechanical) to join the Property, Design and Maintenance team on a temporary basis . This role plays a vital part in managing building and maintenance projects across the corporate estate.

You'll act as the go-to technical expert for Mechanical Building Services Engineering , ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency across all assigned works.

This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of mechanical systems in public/commercial buildings and experience managing or overseeing contractors, consultants, and compliance frameworks.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical building services projects across the corporate estate

  • Provide specialist technical advice in areas such as:

    • Heating and hot water generation

    • Cold/hot water services

    • Air conditioning systems

    • Commercial kitchens

    • Water hygiene and legionella control

  • Prepare reports, estimates, specifications, and schedules for projects

  • Ensure all works meet legal, safety, and quality standards

  • Support lift inspections and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice

Reporting Structure

5. Quality Control
Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience Essential:
Valid CSCS card relevant to the role
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
