A world class, global manufacturing company, who are at the forefront of technology, are currently looking for Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join their team on a shift basis of 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off, rotating days and nights (fortnightly). With the delivery of vital facilities maintenance services across the site being a predominant part of this active position, the manufacturing department and other support divisions rely on facilities maintenance operations. So it is imperative that you capable of carrying out responsibilities and tasks in a streamlined and effective way.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to carry out fault finding and rectify on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems li>To perform and record both planned preventative maintenance and unplanned maintenance on facilities plant and equipment li>Routine monitoring of facilities systems
- Take ownership of assigned areas and proactively drive improvements
Experience and Skills:
- li>ONC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or time served apprenticeship with formal craft qualification (3+ years)
- Electrical/Mechanical fault finding & repairs
- Strong engineering background with methodical approach to problem solving
- Experience of plant and equipment commissioning and decommissioning
- Understanding of a cleanroom principles (desirable)

This role requires physical activity, including working at heights, occasional lifting, and exposure to weather. The technician must be available for on-call emergencies and may need to work outside standard business hours.
