The Role
We are seeking a Real Estate Solicitor with 2 years’+ PQE to join our Partner’s fast-growing team.
This opportunity is available in any of our national offices or on a remote basis , offering flexibility to suit your working preferences.
We are seeking a lawyer with a solid Commercial Property background to manage a varied caseload including purchases, sales, and grants of leases, with a view to developing into real estate finance law.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop into a strong technical lawyer, working alongside a reputable Partner and their team.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in driving transactions forward and will be able to work with minimal supervision.
Essential Experience
- You will be a qualified solicitor 2+ years PQE.
- You will have experience in residential and commercial real estate matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for client interaction.
- An interest in business development and forming new relationships.

About the Role
As the lead Client Accountant, you’ll oversee the financial operations for over 1,000 tenants and 500 landlords. You’ll ensure compliance with RICS and CMP regulations, manage service charge accounts, and maintain transparent, accurate financial records. This is a key leadership role that works closely with operational teams to deliver exceptional service and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily cash and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage landlord payments and monthly statements in collaboration with Property Operations.
Maintain service charge funds and ledgers, ensuring adequate cash flow through annual budgeting.
Lead year-end service charge statements and audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Approve daily client money transfers and ensure proper handling of deposits and refunds.
Submit quarterly NRLT returns and annual statements to HMRC.
Maintain and improve financial systems (Business Central CAM, Sage, D365).
Coach and develop a high-performing team, conducting regular 1:1s and performance reviews.
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure data integrity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance team.
What We’re Looking For
Ideally a qualified accountant (or equivalent experience in financial accounting).
Strong background in treasury management and client accounting.
Knowledge of real estate sector regulations, including CMP and service charge legislation.
Experience with bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Proficient in financial systems (Sage, Microsoft D365 Central) and Excel.
Previous experience in auditing or working within a controlled financial environment.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
