**Manager, Pursuit & Proposal Management**
As a Manager, Pursuit & Proposal Management at Ensono, you will be at the heart of our deal pursuit strategy, leading high-value bids across our service offerings, including hybrid cloud, mainframe, infrastructure, data, identity and access management (IDAM), and cloud-native solutions. Partnering with sales leadership, technical experts, and our global teams, you will shape compelling, client-focused proposals that win business and drive profitable growth.
You will lead the end-to-end proposal process for RFPs, RFIs, and other strategic opportunities, ensuring submissions are compelling, compliant, and aligned to Ensono's growth objectives. This is a client-facing role where you will not only manage the proposal process but also engage directly with clients, supporting presentations, clarifications, and bid defences to ensure Ensono is positioned as their trusted transformation partner.
**What You'll Do**
+ **Bid Deal Pursuit** - Act as a strategic partner to sales in shaping deal strategies, win themes, and value propositions from early qualification through submission and negotiation.
+ **Strategic Alignment** - Ensure every proposal aligns with Ensono's growth objectives, service portfolio, and financial goals.
+ **End-to-End Proposal Leadership** - Orchestrate the entire proposal lifecycle for RFPs, RFIs, and other opportunities, driving all required actions through to completion.
+ **Client Engagement** - Represent Ensono in client-facing interactions during the bid lifecycle, helping to build confidence and trust in our solutions and delivery capability.
+ **Stakeholder Management** - Serve as the central point of coordination across bid teams, executive sponsors, and client stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

**About You**
+ Proven consulting or IT services background, with demonstrable experience driving complex, strategic bids that shape client transformation agendas.
+ Extensive big-deal pursuit experience, ideally leading multi-million-pound opportunities with enterprise clients.
+ Deep understanding of infrastructure, mainframe, and cloud services, with the ability to position these solutions in the context of client challenges and business outcomes.
+ Strong leadership skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders across sales, delivery, and technical functions.
+ Track record of client-facing engagement during the pursuit cycle, including leading bid defences, clarifications, and presentations.
+ Adept at balancing commercial rigour, risk management, and creativity, ensuring proposals are both competitive and profitable.
+ Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent pursuits under tight deadlines.
+ Proven management experience, including mentoring, developing, and motivating high-performing teams to achieve business objectives.
+ Advanced written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex solutions into clear, compelling narratives.
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with bid management tools (e.g., Loopio) advantageous.
+ APMP certification (or equivalent) highly regarded.
