As a Mental Health Advisor, you will:
Provide 1:1 advice, assessment, and support for students in psychological distress.
Carry out risk assessments and develop individual support plans.

My client is recruiting a Mental Health Solicitor with experience or knowledge in mental capacity and Court of Protection matters. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in mental health casework and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities of the Mental Health Solicitor:
- Meet the LAA supervisor requirements for the Mental Health legal aid contract.
- Handle a range of mental health casework, including tribunal representation.
- Address issues arising from s.117 aftercare.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Develop and implement compliant processes, procedures, and precedents.
- Self-supervise effectively.
- Experience across a range of mental health casework, including tribunal representation.
