A Financial Services Organisation is currently seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to deliver business-critical complex infrastructure projects and critical infrastructure into application projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Project Managing the upgrade of Infrastructure across the organisation.
- Interface with any other dependant projects, as and when required
- Oversee migrations, ensuring that service is not impacted.
- Work with the PMO and CTO functions to ensure that governance is being adhered too throughout the lifecycle.
- Run and manage project steering committees, working groups (cross functional)
- Define and track the delivery of project outcomes and benefits in order to justify the business case and decisions to prioritise the project for delivery.
Skills:
- Infrastructure Project management within Financial Services, that has established ITIL processes.
- End to end experience of the project lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to create original concepts on projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with all levels of staff across both technical and non-technical contexts.
- Understanding Investment budget management and Investment project allocations agreements.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and running regulatory projects
- Office based in London with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office).

We’re partnered with a client who is looking to add a Project Supervisor/Engineer/Manager to their Infrastructure division in the heart of Canary Wharf. The ideal candidate will be electrically qualified and have extensive experience in external construction projects such as upgrades to pavements, lighting, water features etc.
Key duties:
- You will be in charge of the Permit to Work system for all infrastructure projects/contractors, ensuring permits are accurately reviewed, issued, controlled, and closed out in line with company policies and legal standards.
- Review and approve RAMS submitted by contractors and in-house teams, verifying competency, insurance coverage, and equipment certification prior to work commencement.
- Carry out thorough site inspections before, during, and after project activities to monitor compliance with approved RAMS and permit conditions, escalating any deviations or unsafe practices immediately.
- Liaise with Health & Safety and other relevant departments to continuously enhance compliance and risk mitigation strategies on projects.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, near misses, or non-compliance related to project activities for Infrastructure Services Management.
- Facilitate training sessions or toolbox talks focused on Permit to Work processes, safe work methods, and regulatory updates for project teams and contractors.
- A relevant professional qualification at Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in managing Permit to Work systems and RAMS within a project environment.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire safety systems across complex estates.
- Familiarity with street works and LANTRA safety legislation is advantageous.
