**Job Purpose and Impact**
The Quality Assurance Analyst, will develop and implement processes and procedures meant to improve quality throughout the organization. In this role, you will partner with other teams to identify and mitigate quality risks and will work with senior staff to address customer requirements and concerns, as well as collaborate on audits.
The role is based in our Cargill production plant in Bathgate.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Expertly perform inspection of raw materials and finished goods, analyze data and identify trends in defects or errors
+ Partner with cross functional teams on product design, product management and production to uncover and avoid quality risks
+ Conduct root cause analysis for defects, nonconformities or other quality failures
+ Ensure compliance with formal external and internal quality standards
+ Provide training, coaching and mentoring to team members
+ Ensure compliance with formal external and internal quality standards and contribute to audits
+ Handle basic issues and problems, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff

Quality Assurance Analyst I
Mastercard Prepaid Management Services (MPMS) provide end-to-end prepaid card solutions for clients and partners. As part of the Test and Quality Assurance function the Quality Assurance Analyst will help to grow and champion the prepaid Quality framework, its associated processes and documentation. They will identify and drive improvement opportunities to increase the overall quality of releases coming from the engineering teams and work closely with the teams to ensure that testing covers the whole end to end solution and our recording tools are used correctly and consistently.
The Analyst will guide the teams through the Quality Governance process and ensure that the results are fed into continuous improvement activities. The Analyst will be key in ensuring that defects are addressed in a timely manner and that communication and reporting are consistent. One main objective is to drive down the defect rate, the analyst will be expected to help define and maintain defect triage and root cause analysis processes.
This role is reporting to the QA Manager and is perfect for recent graduates with experience in data, or those early in their career.
