About the Role

As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in upholding and enhancing our product standards across all manufacturing operations. You will lead our quality assurance processes, oversee compliance for all our production, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure our customers receive only the best.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with industry best practices.
li>Guide, manage, train and develop our small team of QA controllers
• Oversee quality control for all manufacturing
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and supplier assessments to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues.
• Train, mentor, and support production teams in quality assurance protocols.
• Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to drive product and process improvements.
• Report on quality metrics and present findings to senior management.

About You

• Proven experience in a quality management role within manufacturing (furniture experience highly desirable).
• Strong knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001 or similar).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing supplier quality and conducting audits.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites as required.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Conduct rigorous inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Analyze product defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and R&D teams to ensure quality is integrated into the product lifecycle from design to launch.
• Develop and execute validation and verification test plans for new and existing products.
• Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection results, test data, and non-conformance reports.
• Manage and calibrate quality control equipment and instruments.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
• Train production staff on quality standards and procedures.

• Oversee and manage all Quality Assurance activities, including batch record review, deviation management, CAPA implementation, and change control.
• Conduct internal audits and host external regulatory inspections (e.g., MHRA, FDA).
• Review and approve validation protocols and reports for equipment, processes, and analytical methods.
• Manage the supplier qualification program and conduct supplier audits.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance and support on quality-related matters.
• Investigate product quality complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained on cGMP and relevant quality procedures.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related life science field. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of cGMP, FDA, MHRA, and ICH regulations.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing QMS, including SOPs, batch records, and validation processes.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and analytical testing.
• Excellent auditing skills (internal and external).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
