Our well-established client is recruiting for a Quality Control Inspector on a permanent basis, in Newbury.
Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities:
- Inspect all types on incoming product in accordance with defined inspection criteria, for defects and ensure that all inspection findings are recorded including photographic record and ensure that they accurately reflect the full characteristics of the product received li>Identify defects, record and report nonconforming product in ERP system and process such product in accordance with disposition instructions within the procedure
- Ensure all product is appropriately located and stored and that the electronic stock locations are updated and maintained
- Pick product in accordance with the daily priority list
- To observe ESD precaution at all times when handling product
- Develop and conduct checks to verify authenticity of electronic components
- Assist with technical support with the quality department
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained adequately e.g. calibration
- Collaborate in continuous improvement activities
- Interpret and understand data sheets and technical documents
Quality Control Inspector Key Aspect:
- Computer literacy
- Quality control experience would be an advantage
- Experience within electronics (desirable)
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Quality Control Inspector - FTC (6 months)
Business Need / Purpose of Role:
Responsible for performing various inspection tasks within the Company under the instruction of the Inspection Team Leader whilst working with your colleagues in the inspection team to ensure conformance to Company standards, specifications, and drawings.
Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities
But not limited to:
Primary Tasks
- The ability to cover the inspection of products and processes relating to all aspects of quality control with the Company.
- To ensure the conformance of products and processes to relevant specifications and standards and complete and maintain accurate documentation in a timely manner according to the Company requirements.
- Timely Inspections
- Dimensional Reports (where applicable)
- To raise non-conformance reports where any items or processes do not conform to standards or specifications/drawings.
- Using recognised quality control measuring techniques / equipment where manufacturing processes are tightly controlled to ensure the products meet agreed standards.
- Responsible for ensuring that good housekeeping is maintained within all areas.
- To support the promotion of continuous improvement processes within the inspection team for the benefit of the Company (under the supervision of the Inspection Team Leader and / or UK QHSE Lead).
- Ensure all quality control measuring equipment is in calibration when used.
- Provide status updates if / when required efficiently, effectively and in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duty as reasonably requested by the Inspection Lead and / or UK QHSE Lead to ensure the objectives of Inspection Team and the expectations of the customer are met.

- Work to high standards of quality, within a strong safety culture and a good working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 is desirable.
- Fully experienced with all inspection / measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, thread gauges and hardness checking equipment.
- Fully experienced in reading and understanding Engineering drawings (component and assembly).
- Experience of using a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (manual & CNC) and / or Inspection Arm is desirable.

They are now seeking a permanent Quality Control Inspector to join the business on a permanent basis. Their sites operate in and around Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex areas. They are a mix between private builds and HA houses and flats. Salary on offer ranging between 45k p/a - 46,500 p/a DOE.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include: undertaking key stage inspections on a new build home, prepare and issue quality control reports using I-Auditor inspection platform and follow these reports to conclusion. Need photographic evidence attached to the reports, distribution of the reports to each stake holder, follow up reports and ensure closed down, maintenance of records, reporting directly to the QC Manager, offer advice on improvements, prep plot folders, liaise with sub-contractors and site management teams to iron out defects.
Must be able to drive, must have prior construction or quality control experience within new build housing, must be detail orientated and capable of multitasking. Looking for somebody who holds a reliable work attendance, have a strong understanding of building materials, methods and general construction principals.
