Role scope:
- In-process testing of all components within the QC Department
- Completion of incoming goods testing
- Qualification of all biological reagents e.g. antibodies, antigens and stock conjugates
- Final integral and control release testing for liaison
- Compilation and release of integrals, including assignment of cut off factor & programming of RF tags for assembly
- Evaluation and analysis of QC results including completion of trend reviews
- Completion of stability testing according to pre-approved plans
- Post market surveillance activities
- Support Investigations for both Internal issues and External complaints
- Compilation of in-process testing reports to send back to manufacturing
- Participate in internal/external audits
- To complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner highlighting issues to Line Manager as soon as they occur
- Comply will all Company procedures governing the role
- Liaise with various Business Stakeholders to ensure an uninterrupted supply of QC panels and other auxiliary components
- Participate and contribute to the Operational Excellence activities at the site aiming for continuous improvement
- Approach the role in a flexible manner, and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation. When required and instructed by the QC manager.
Skill Requirements:
- Science based education or relevant experience
- Ability to manage time lines and prioritise workload to meet business needs
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Accurate record keeping
- Proficient IT skills
- Willing to learn new skills in order to support business needs, some training may require international travel.
