Are you passionate about quality and food safety? We are a well-established and growing meat processing business supplying major UK supermarkets, food service providers, and meal kit companies. We’re on the lookout for a Quality Supervisor to join our team and ensure our high standards are upheld across all areas of production.
The Role:
You will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, intermediate, and finished products consistently meet strict quality and food safety standards. Duties will include:

Conducting hourly quality checks and inspections

Performing label verifications

Monitoring and recording air temperatures

Calibrating weighing scales and temperature probes
-
Collecting product samples for lab testing

Carrying out equine testing
-
Completing low-level internal audits (e.g. black bag audits)

Adapting to changing quality requirements based on business needs
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a quality or food safety role
-
Basic Food Hygiene and HACCP certification (required)

Familiarity with health & safety procedures
-
Basic PC skills
-
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Background in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential

Previous experience in a Quality role within food manufacturing (essential)

Strong leadership and team management skills

Good knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, BRC preferred)
