Our client is a very successful and well established regional contractor based in the Southampton area. Due to organic growth, they are searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Groundworks and Civil Engineering. The company offer a competitive basic salary with pension, private health, company car / allowance and generous bonus scheme.
Typical projects include the groundwork / foundations / new build residential projects across Hampshire, Sussex, Wiltshire and Dorset. The ideal candidate will come from either a groundworks or a housebuilder / developer background with a good understanding of groundworks / civils.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets and forecasts throughout project.
- Monitor expenditure and provide cost advice
- Prior to commencing on site, provide input, along with the rest of the commercial team, to the valuation master sheet by populating and formatting it to include all costs and variations.
