We're working with a respected college in Coventry (with multiple campuses across the Midlands) that is expanding its Rail Engineering team. They are now seeking a passionate rail professional to step into a permanent role as a Instructor.
About the Role
In this role, you'll play a key part in training apprentices, supporting both their practical skills in workshops and theory-based learning in classrooms. You'll help shape the workforce of the future by:
- Delivering engaging lessons across Health & Safety, Rail Track Maintenance, and Rail Engineering theory
- Supporting apprentices in developing industry-standard skills
- Preparing and delivering high-quality lessons and practical sessions
- Acting as a role model, mentor, and supporter of learner progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have hands-on rail track maintenance experience
- Hold a minimum Level 3 Rail Maintenance qualification(or equivalent)
- A teaching qualification is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided

Ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders, building effective relationships to grow workload/portfolio
Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent);

Are you a talented and ambitious Commercial Manager looking to work on exciting infrastructure projects?
We are looking for Commercial Managers to support our exciting growth plans, working with our key infrastructure clients, particularly in the rail sector in the Northwest and Midlands, supporting the successful delivery of their capital projects and programmes of work. You will be joining an established team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.
As a Commercial Manager within our Buildings & Places Infrastructure team, you will provide a comprehensive, accurate and value driven service for large, high profile and exciting key client within the rail sector. The role also presents opportunities to work across other sectors including highways, water and power throughout the UK.
The role will cover all aspects of commercial management throughout the whole project lifecycle. The role also provides the opportunity to support the growth of the business and management/development of team members within the Northwest and Midlands.
**Here's what you'll do**
Deliver all aspects of commercial management from inception of a project through to completion.
Achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company.
Drive performance standards and technical excellence through communication and effective use of the performance management process and AECOM technical practice networks.
Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.
Actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects.

**Hereu2019s what weu2019re looking for:**
Experience in the Cost and Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying field.
Experience of undertaking cost / commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams
Experience of working within a client organization, either directly or through a colocation / secondment arrangement would be of benefit.
Experience of working in the rail sector is preferred
Ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders, building effective relationships to grow workload/portfolio
Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent);
Accredited to MRICS (or equivalent) or working towards it
