Great opportunity to work as a Ramp Agent for our client, who works across multiple UK Airports and supports their logistics operations, alongside the core customer service side.

Staffline is recruiting for Ramp Agents at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Applicants will need to hold a full UK Driving Licence to be considered for this role.

Earn up to £550 per week!

The rate of pay is £2.62 per hour.

Opportunity for overtime paid at an enhanced rate 6.78 per hour.

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, 5 days on 3 days off and the hours of work are:

- 5am to 12:15pm
- 5:30am - 1:15pm
- 5am to 2pm
- 12pm to 7:15pm
- 12pm to 9pm
- 2pm to 11pm
- 5:15pm to 2:30am
30 hours a week.

Opportunity to earn a monthly performance bonus.

Due to the nature of this role, all candidates will be asked to provide references covering the last 5 years of employment.

Your Time at Work

As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for:

- Aircraft baggage loading and unloading
- Baggage sorting and transportation
- Aircraft push-back
- Unit load devise control
- Airside Driving

There will be manual handling involved in this role and lifting up to 32kg.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be calm, friendly, and professional with excellent communication skills. You will be able to work well within a team and react quickly and accurately to any given situation.

Ramp Agents will be willing to attend a medical.

Due to the nature of this role, all candidates will be asked to provide references covering the last 5 years of employment - and personal references for any gaps in employment. Candidates must be willing to undergo a DBS and CTC check.

Applicants will hold a full UK driving license.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.

Customer Service Taxi Rank Agent - Heathrow Airport - £4.10 per hour - Full-time

Your key duties will include:

• As the first point of contact, rank agents are responsible for the processing of passengers and establishing destinations.
• Liaise with the Taxi Feeder Park to confirm driver validity as and when necessary.
• Issue Local Journey Tickets and answer passenger and driver queries clearly and precisely.
• Be responsible for Badge and Licence checks on the rank, reporting any anomalies.
• Be proactive and security conscious reporting any unattended packages/parcels.
• Use the Hand Held Unit to confirm taxis should be on the ranks and correctly record LJ/ FFS during periods of peak demand.
• Dealing with passengers with oversize, 2 cab etc luggage requirements.
• Knowledge of Abstract of Laws and Heathrow Airport Bylaws (full training will be given).
• Learning fully the destinations and issuing Local Journey Tickets, Fares Fair Zones A, B & C (full training will be given.
  
  What you'll bring:
• Flexibility to work in all areas of Heathrow across the business.
• Willingness to work overtime should the need arise.
• Good command of the English language.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Ability to use a two-way radio – (Training will be given).
• Must be able to work as part of a team and also lone working.
• Knowledge of Heathrow Airport plus local area would be an advantage.
• Driving licence preferable but not necessary.
