- Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring consistent quality and technical excellence.
- Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver commercially viable outcomes and maintain programme certainty.
- Drive quality assurance and risk management processes, ensuring compliance with professional standards and internal frameworks.
- Present financial and progress reports to clients, directors, and senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost consultancy, ideally within the UK residential or mixed-use development sectors.
- Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, and post-contract administration.
- MRICS qualification (or working towards) strongly preferred; equivalent professional background considered.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of market cost drivers.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring or managing junior team members.
- High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail in cost reporting and forecasting.
- Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach with a passion for delivering best-in-class cost management solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Must have UK consultancy experience.
