Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and return calculations for potential real estate investments.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify investment opportunities and assess market trends.
- Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, including reviewing property-level financials, leases, and operating statements.
- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and provide ongoing analysis and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry participants.
- Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of new real estate opportunities.
- Stay informed about economic conditions, capital markets, and relevant legislation affecting the real estate sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams on asset management, leasing, and development activities.
- Utilize various data sources and software tools to support investment analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field, with proven experience in real estate investment analysis or a similar financial role. Strong financial modeling skills, excellent analytical abilities, and proficiency in Excel are essential. Knowledge of Argus Enterprise or similar property valuation software is a significant advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to present findings effectively. This hybrid role is based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK .

The Role
Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking to add an additional Legal Counsel to the team in London. The role will advise on the full suite of corporate real estate transactions, with a particular focus on the various joint ventures the firm undertakes. In addition the role will advise on other SPVs, accounts, funds and work with the top tier global law firms as external counsel.
Candidate Requirements
- You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE, ideally with corporate / corporate real estate experience in a highly regarded law firm.
- Experience in structuring and negotiating real estate joint ventures and co-investment vehicles is highly advantageous.
- Experience of working with funds and various SPVs would be beneficial.
- As a commercial lawyer, you will be a strong team player with outstanding communication skills, an ability to influence and project manage multiple legal matters.
