The role of the Business Development Manager – Heating and Cooling Systems will involve:
- Field sales role, promoting a high end manufactured range of natural gas, electric and hydrogen radiant heaters as well as; tube heaters, plague heaters, warm air heaters, air curtains, gas heat pumps, AHUs, big fans HVLS, VRF heat pumps, hybrid heat pumps, air conditioning and chillers li>Complete turnkey solutions encompassing; supply and Install as well as service and maintenance package
- 40% of your time selling direct into end users within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, industrial, hospitality etc. Clients include BMW (Mini), Amazon, Rolls Royce, DHL, Dunlop, Komatsu, Tesco, Honda, Chelsea FC, Amazon etc. li>30%-40% selling into M&E contractors, predominantly mechanical installers
- 10-20% influencing specifiers such as M&E consultants, local authorities etc. (looking to grow the specification sales side of the business
- Predominantly a new business development role, large volume of lapsed/ dormant customer accounts to target
- Tasked with a revenue target 1st year of £500, 0 li>Order values typically 0,000- 0,000
- Site surveys, writing your own proposals and designs (taking pictures of open spaces, measuring up etc.)

Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment across both sites.
Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs to refrigeration, HVAC, and associated plant.
Undertake general building services and fabric maintenance tasks where required.
Ensure all works are completed in line with statutory regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
Maintain accurate records of works carried out using CAFM systems.
Liaise with the on-site client team to ensure minimal disruption to store operations.
Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota (optional, with enhanced pay).
Skills & Experience Required
NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
FGAS Category 1 (essential).
Proven experience in refrigeration and general HVAC maintenance within a retail, commercial, or critical environment.
Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Good working knowledge of building services systems (electrical and mechanical).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.

If you have a mix of electrical and mechanical skills and a passion for problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you. Previous experience in FMCG or food manufacturing is helpful, but we're open to candidates keen to develop their skills further.
Key Skills
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical discipline
* Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
* Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments (food manufacturing preferred but not essential)
* 18th Edition Electrical Certificate is advantageous
Working Hours
* 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am
