This is an important position within the business where you'll be relied upon for a wide range of support. In this role you'll be tasked with taking on a variety of challenges and tasks covering senior personnel support, HR admin, IT Admin, procurement, office management, travel bookings and coordination, finance admin, event organisation and other ad hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration

  • Overall responsibility for making the office a fun and engaging place to work. You will manage stationery and office sundries ordering and stock levels, sourcing of new equipment, monitoring office cleaning and liaising with the building management when necessary.

  • Responsible for IT, both hardware and software inventories

  • POC for all office related queries and support

Recruiting:
You do not need to have experience with recruiting, but you will spend a lot of time sourcing candidates, co-ordinating, setting up/administration of hiring plans etc.

  • You will need to want to do this as a daily core part of your role

  • We will train you to utilise AI based recruiting tools like juicebox, linkedin recruiter, & Ashby

Team building

  • Help organise team meetings and team-building activities

  • Running the team events schedule and organising cakes for birthdays, drinks, team lunches etc.

  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences and liaise with the US-based people team.

  • Heading up internal office comms e.g. announcing headline office updates, celebrating successes…

HR admin, Recruiting & on-boarding administration

  • Liaise and collaborate with the HR managers and help with any new starter onboarding and leavers.

  • Order equipment for new starters and maintain records.

  • Support on recruitment and scheduling of interviews.

Senior management support

  • Organise and coordinate SMT meetings i.e. prepare agendas, room booking and catering arrangements

Other

  • Support the various teams on any other activities as required.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role in a fast-paced organisation

  • A lot of energy and a cheerful attitude at all times – no task is too big or too small and you see the value in making people happy and providing a great working environment

  • A track record of ‘getting things done’ and a willingness to take a hands-on approach

  • Super organised and process driven with good project management skills

  • Strong time management skills

  • Effective Communicator – able to disseminate ideas in a clear, concise manner

Who you are:

You're a confident and proactive HR professional with a solid background in employee relations, ideally gained within a similar industry to telent. You have a strong understanding of UK employment law and are skilled at handling complex cases with discretion and fairness.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of providing HR ER advice in line with relevant policies and legislation, ideally in a case management set up.
  • Experience of working on significant TUPEs, Consultations and restructure processes
  • Well organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and manage high volume of case work and queries to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Good working knowledge of current employment legislation and its application in the workplace
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
  • Knowledge of ER procedures and processes such as employment tribunals, disability, diversity and equal opportunities.

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Indsutrial Relations Advisor to join a global EPC company based out of the North Wales.

Job Overview:

As an Industrial Relations Advisor you will be part of the Energy Carries division. You will support the smooth implementation of local agreements with various unions involved with the project scope on a large onshore carbon capture project based in North Wales. You will be part of our ENI Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage) .

Duties

  • Ensure the development of transparent, profitable and positive relations with local, national and international trade unions and employers' organizations
  • Ensure the dissemination of a culture of relationships and respect for human rights
  • Ensure good relations with trade unions, in compliance with company procedures
  • Ensure good relations with the relevant employers' organisations
  • Ensure specialist technical support to company departments for the correct and effective management of trade union relations at peripheral sites, subsidiaries and affiliates
  • Define the criteria for signing collective agreements covering the various matters within remit, in compliance with company policies, values and business needs
  • Ensure support to HR and Line departments for the correct interpretation and application of collective agreements
  • Ensure support to Sustainability departments for matters within remit
  • Monitor the diffusion of trade union organisations and their memberships
  • Contribute to the achievement of a positive workplace atmosphere, including by spreading the knowledge of welfare benefit opportunities
  • Contribute to the collection of useful data for the drafting of the Sustainability Report.
  • Ensure the promotion of and respect for human rights
  • Ensure a cross-functional approach which takes the clients global presence into account
  • Ensure the management of trade union activities in the event of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ensure the necessary coordination with the external communications functions in the event of occurrences that could find their way into the media
  • Ensure management of the overall Project's Industrial Relations in compliance with applicable legislation, Industrial Instruments (NAECI), relevant labour practices;
  • Contribute to the definition and negotiation of relevant Industrial instruments (NAECI/Supplementary Project Agreement) and management of employees' relations at project level;
  • Ensure coordination among Subcontractors for what concern Trade Union requirements and deliverables.

Requirements:

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations

Experience: definition and negotiation of relevant Industrial instruments (NAECI/Supplementary Project Agreement) and management of employees' relations in a project context

Languages: English
