This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of finance systems in a fast-growing, decentralized finance environment. You will define system architecture, manage ERP selection and implementation, and streamline workflows across finance, accounting, and data teams. Working remotely in a collaborative, global setting, you will ensure systems are scalable, automated, and aligned with business objectives. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, allowing you to shape reporting, integrations, and finance operations while driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting both operational excellence and innovative financial products.
Accountabilities
- Define and maintain the finance systems architecture and roadmap, ensuring scalability and alignment with business needs.
- Lead ERP system selection, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and full-cycle implementation (NetSuite preferred).
- Act as finance-side project manager for system implementations, ensuring milestones, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate and perform system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for high-quality deployment.
- Maintain, support, and optimize finance systems, including ERP, IBM Planning Analytics, Tres Finance, Superset, and Jira.
- Design and manage data flows and integrations across all tools, ensuring accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Data, and Product teams to translate business requirements into system functionality.
- Develop governance frameworks, maintain data integrity, and manage access controls.
- Liaise with external vendors, consultants, and auditors on system-related matters.
- Provide training, guidance, and documentation for finance team members and stakeholders.
- Continuously identify process improvements in automation, efficiency, and reporting.
- Potentially build and lead a small team of specialists to support system development and operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes; IFRS/US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
- Proven experience in ERP selection and full-cycle implementation (NetSuite experience highly valued).
- Expertise in systems architecture, integrations, and workflow tools (ERP, FP&A, reporting systems).
- Hands-on experience in system testing, UAT, and ongoing support.
- Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, Tres Finance, Superset, and Jira is advantageous.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for bridging finance, data, and technology teams.
- Experience in fast-paced or multinational environments is a plus.
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
