What Is the Opportunity?
We are looking for an Onshore Renewable Energy Underwriter to join our successful Renewable Energy Underwriting team in London. We have big ambitions for the team and you'll be responsible for supporting the management of the book's profitability by underwriting and processing new business, renewals and mid term adjustments and monitoring rate adequacy.
Travelers Europe currently offers flexibility to employees who wish to work on a hybrid basis in accordance with our Hybrid Work Arrangements Policy. This entails full time employees working three days a week in the office and two days at home (or pro rata for part-time employees). - Support the overall profitability, growth and retention of the Line of Business line and consistency of all related underwriting initiatives.
- Ensures that business is written in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures and controls (including audit requirements) at all times, and adheres to Lloyds Underwriting Management Standards ensuring business is only accepted in accordance with:
- individual underwriting authority and, where relevant, with approval under the Lloyds Individual Registration Byelaw.
- the Unit's business plan for the relevant year.
- Support the development of assigned Line of Business and services such as researching and identifying target business, competitor information, industry and economic factors across the business.
- Utilise appropriate systems to accurately enter quotes, risks and endorsements, so as to ensure correct management, statistical and regulatory reporting.

- Monitor market factors and world affairs as part of research and development of new opportunities.

Superb opportunity for an experienced Solar PV or Renewable Energy Electrician to join an established and leading specialist within the Renewable sector.
Our client are involved in the design, installation and maintenance of projects throughout both residential and commercial properties and due to expansion are looking to add an experienced Electrician to the team.
Job Summary:
- Fully employed position.
- Responsible for the installation of Solar PV systems as well as Battery and Energy Storage solutions, and the electrical wiring of Air Source Heat Pumps.
- Working across mainly domestic, residential and some commercial properties, ranging anything from 4KW-50KW+ projects.
- Responsible for commissioning and maintenance works and working alongside roofing team and other engineers.
- Adhere to relevant compliance and health & safety procedures.
- Responsible for working around the Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and surrounding locations.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Ideally you'll have a minimum of 2-3 years' Solar PV installation experience. However training can be provided for the right person.
- 18th Edition qualified electrician.
- Ideally NVQ Level 3 Qualified, AM2 etc.
- Ideally relevant other electrical qualifications such as 2391 testing & inspection etc.
- You'll need to live commutable to Gloucestershire.

Solar PV / Renewable Energy Electrician
35k-40k Base Salary (Fully Employed) + Company Van + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Benefits
Location - Gloucestershire / Cheltenham
Company Background:
Superb opportunity for an experienced Solar PV or Renewable Energy Electrician to join an established and leading specialist within the Renewable sector.
Our client are involved in the design, installation and maintenance of projects throughout both residential and commercial properties and due to expansion are looking to add an experienced Electrician to the team.
Job Summary:
- Fully employed position.
- Responsible for the installation of Solar PV systems as well as Battery and Energy Storage solutions, and the electrical wiring of Air Source Heat Pumps.
- Working across mainly domestic, residential and some commercial properties, ranging anything from 4KW-50KW+ projects.
- Responsible for commissioning and maintenance works and working alongside roofing team and other engineers.
- Adhere to relevant compliance and health & safety procedures.
- Responsible for working around the Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and surrounding locations.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Ideally you'll have a minimum of 2-3 years' Solar PV installation experience. However training can be provided for the right person.
- 18th Edition qualified electrician.
- Ideally NVQ Level 3 Qualified, AM2 etc.
- Ideally relevant other electrical qualifications such as 2391 testing & inspection etc.
- You'll need to live commutable to Gloucestershire.
