You will be expected and supported to conduct cutting-edge research at the highest level, build your own externally funded research group, collaborate widely within and without the department and to explore the full potential of the impact of your research. Your work will contribute to research and impact themes in the Department, the Science Faculty and across the University, including cross-disciplinary and collaborative vehicles such as the Durham Energy Institute and the Institute for Hazard, Risk and Resilience.
