The Role

Role

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Solicitor to join this highly ranked L500 Renewable Energy department a respected Scottish firm, based in Glasgow. The team is deeply embedded in Scotland’s renewables sector and works with a broad range of clients including developers, funders, investors, landowners, community bodies and planning authorities.


The role will involve advising clients across the full lifecycle of Renewable Energy Projects. You’ll be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements such as exclusivity arrangements, options and leases, and carrying out due diligence for investors and funders. You will also support clients operating in the renewable energy supply chain and advise on land and property matters relating to energy infrastructure projects.


This role offers exposure to a wide variety of projects across sectors such as onshore wind, hydro, solar, battery storage and marine energy. You will play a key part in a team that has advised on deals representing a large proportion of Scotland’s total renewable electricity capacity.
